Andrew Pierce met Ashley Hudson at the church they both attended in Hamburg. The two knew at that point that this was a love union made in heaven. Ashley was 17 and hadn't been with a man before, so they took it slow. It was romance at first sight. It was New Year's Eve right prior to the beginning of 2016, Andrew asked God to grant him one last thing that was to come... in the hope that Ashley could say yes and wed Andrew. Ashley had always wanted an all-wooden wedding, as it represented Andrew and her. They incorporated a small amount of everything they love for the wedding day. Ashley lived in the 40-acre property that was picked as the location. Ashley enjoyed playing and exploring all the land, including the paths they had taken to reach the spot. Andrew, Ashley and their acquaintances had walked through the field several times before they started to get together. Because the wedding was essentially DIY, personalization was a big role. Andrew's father as well as Ashley as well as Ashley made both the ceremony arch and the arches for the seats. Ashley made and painted many of the wedding decorations. Our wedding would not be the romantic experience I imagined if it wasn't for Anna's amazing floral work Ashley describes as the proprietor of Magnolia Belle Floral. It truly is breathtaking.
